How to Make a Betty Boop Costume
A Betty Boop costume is a simple, yet highly impressive look. There is no way you could ever remain unnoticed in the sexy red dress, specific for this classic sex icon! Achieving the perfect Betty Boop look is quite simple, though you need to prepare in advance if you want to have a stunning look for Halloween.
Betty Boop Makeup
The first thing that you will need to do is practice the make-up. Betty Boop was a cartoon figure, so some of her features have been designed accordingly. Purchase a pair of false eyelashes (it is recommendable to go for the largest size you can find), some special make-up brushes and lots of black eyeshadow and/or black eye pencil.
Begin by covering your entire face in foundation. Cover your eyebrows too, so that your face color will look as uniform as a sheet of paper. Then, draw your eyebrows on your forehead, at the middle between your real brows and the hair line. Make the contour as round as possible and apply the false eyelashes for a dramatic look. You can also add a bit of silvery glittering eyeshadow. Complete the make-up with cherry red lipstick.
